Hi,
If you maintain the total shelf life in material master, you must enter the date of production ate the time of GR.
If you do not assign the total shelf life in material master, system will ask you the expiration date at the time of GR.
Yuor requirement can be fulfilled by the second case. You may proceed as the screenshot below:
1. material master:
2. Create PO for the material.
3. Do MIGO: Here, system will ask you the expiration date instead of manufacturing date.
In addition, while maintaining the total shelf life in material master, system will issue a warning message ( Important: the date of production must be entered in the goods receipt, Message no. M3767 ). You may get the details from this message.
